Ladies,
Thank you so much for your prayers we need them sent up daily for us and we need our church family to stand in gap for us right now. I know you all are praying for us because last night around 9:00 I all of a sudden just had feeling of calmness come over me. Maybe I’m just mad at this stage now. I don’t know. But I know that we did a good job raising our children. They were brought up in church from the day they came into this world. And I know that God is faithful to His word. The scripture says to Train up a child in the way that it should go and when they are old they will not depart from it. That is the scripture I have held on to forever and I know that God’s word will not fail no matter what satan tries to do. I know that Candice is going to be saved and I know that despite everything that she has done God is not through with her. He never gave up on Justin and at this point he has turned his life over to God and I pray he will continue to allow God to work in his life. I refuse to give up on Candice. She is smart and has so much potential. She just has allowed satan to run her life and has done things that are really stupid. I know we will get through this thing once again with prayers of my church family and my immediate family and friends. I hate to see her have spend time in jail but she can only blame herself. And if this is what it takes then so be it.
If you look at it realistically she could have killed herself, the baby could have been with her, or she could have killed someone else. So there are things to be thankful for even in this tragedy. As far as where the baby will be placed we are not going to fight tooth and nail for her. I will let God decided. At this point she is safe and as far as I can tell when she is with her Daddy he takes very good care of her. So if that is where she ends up I will accept that. I am not sure if he will be able to tend to her every need and work too but God will decide that. Of course we will certainly take her. But really grandparents should not have to raise there grandchildren. But I understand that it not always the case. And you all know how much we adore her. Please continue to stand in the gap for us and pray that we will be able to accept whatever the will of the Lord is in all things. Because I know He is in control and He knows exactly what he is doing even when we don’t.
I know that God has us here in Fl for a reason. And the truth of the matter is that whether we are 8 miles away or 800 the result would have been the same. We would be 8 miles from her and still not have been able to do a thing. We would have been in the same position at home. Please Please Please pray for Candice above myself, Richard and my family she is in need of prayer more than us. Pray for her salvation and pray that she will come out of this a new person in Him! I LOVE YOU ALL WITH ALL MY HEART, I MISS YOU ALL AND I KNOW YOU ARE PRAYING BECAUSE I FEEL ALL OF YOUR PRAYERS! GOD IS GOOD NO MATTER THE SITUATION.
I LOVE AND MISS YOU ALL

VBS Memories
Anyone have any special memories or blessings you received last week during VBS?
The joy and excitement that was reflected on the children's faces every night will always be with me. It was a blessing to work with everyone especially the floaters. They were always willing (without me even asking) to help count kids, pick up attendance sheets, count money (especially when we counted over 1400 pennies one evening), pass our newsletters or with anything else that needed to be handled. Hats off to everyone!!
What would we have done without our director? Thanks Linda for taking on this huge task, keeping us abreast of changes and on track. We love you!

Luncheon
Mark your calendars! Our next luncheon will be on Tuesday, 7/31, at 11:30 am at Two Sister's Pecan House. They are now in the old Pizza Hut building which means more room. yeah!
VBS
For those of you involved with VBS or anyone who isn't but would like to help, several of us will be meeting on Monday, 7/9, at the church at 5:30 pm to do outreach. We will put out door hangers and flyers in several of the subdivisions and apartment complexes. The more hangers/flyers we get out means the more kids we can reach for Christ! Therefore, any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!

Special Day
Congratulations to Amy & Justin as they will be married today.
Here's a poem for them as they celebrate.
All our happiness goes out to you:
Pride and pleasure, joy, sweet tears, and love!
Reason, hope, and faith together move
In harmony to bless all that you do.
Let this beginning be the golden dawn
At which all dew-drenched nature sings its glory!
Nor should the darkness shrouding every story
Dim the blue-eyed beauty of this morn.
More of life will come than you can hold:
A flood no mortal witness can withstand.
Rest, then, within a quiet, gentle hand,
Knowing where love is as you grow old.
"...Therefore shall a man leave his father and mother and be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh...." Gen. 2:24; Eph. 5:31
